Donut grew up in Livonia, Michigan, where he developed a deep appreciation for the local community—and a serious love for Bates burgers and Buddy’s Pizza. His roots run deep in the area, starting with his time at St. Michael’s for middle school, where lasting friendships and early values were formed.

He went on to attend University of Detroit Jesuit High School, where his appreciation for the city of Detroit truly began to blossom. During his time there, Donut became actively involved in various charitable efforts throughout the city, gaining firsthand experience in giving back and making a meaningful impact. His high school years deepened his connection to Detroit and instilled in him the values of service, leadership, and community—principles he carries with him to this day.

Xavier University Grad

Donut boldly entered enemy territory when he chose to attend Xavier University in Ohio. There, he majored in Marketing and made his mark by founding the school’s first student-run marketing consulting firm—an initiative that helped local businesses while giving students real-world experience. It was also at Xavier where he learned a valuable life lesson: never underestimate the aftereffects of Cincinnati chili.

Living Across America

Donut has lived all across America—calling cities like Cincinnati, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Antonio home at different points in his life. Having experienced the ups and downs of relocating firsthand, he developed a deep appreciation for the emotional and logistical toll moving can take on a person or family. That’s why he’s committed to making the process as smooth, stress-free, and supportive as possible for his clients.

Donut eventually moved back home to Michigan to start the next chapter of his life. It was here that he met his wife, Kate, and together they welcomed their firstborn son, Luca. Returning home not only brought him closer to family, but also reignited his passion for helping others put down roots in a place that means so much to him.
